Prep your Home for Cooler Weather

Now that Daylight Savings is coming to an end and our clocks are about to change, its a good cue to make a few adjustments around the house to prepare for the cooler months ahead.

1. Close crawl space or any other vents that may have been opened during warmer weather.
2. Check weather stripping on your doors to prevent any drafts.
3. Disconnect hoses from outside faucets to prevent water freezing.
4. As the leaves finish falling, clean your gutters and downspouts to prevent future clogs.
5. Change your HVAC filter and have the unit serviced.

Here we Grow again…

Here we grow again… the cat is out the bag… and all those other “punny” sayings we so often use to announce something exciting….  WE ARE BUILDING IN A NEW MARKET CENTER! {AGAIN.}

Lexington, Kentucky: Here we come!

Our team has been scoping out subdivisions, land, lots & housing trends in the Lexington market for quite a while. {Side note: Who doesn’t love a good office field trip?!} Located in the heart of the Bluegrass Region, Lexington is known around the globe as the “Horse Capital of the World”.  The city is surrounded by green rolling hills and perfectly manicured pastures. Our team has thoroughly enjoyed our time becoming acquainted with the area and all it has to offer.

With any new venture there will be challenges, obstacles and new barriers to push through. We are confident in what we have to offer and know have a wonderful team ready to tackle everything this growth opportunity has to offer. Clarksville, Tennessee has been our comfort zone for many years, but we can’t wait to feel right at home in Lexington too!

We hope you are just as excited about this new chapter and can’t wait to “WOW” the Lexington real estate market with our quality home construction, swift build time and outstanding home warranty program. We hope to be breaking ground on our first build sometime this fall!

Handbags speak louder than words

We sponsored, we ate, we shopped!

A few days ago we attended one of our favorite local charity events of the year; The Clarksville Association of Realtors’ fifth annual Handbags For Hope!

This event featured over 200 handbags, wallets, and tote bags in a silent and live auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit Urban Ministry’s SafeHouse for Women. Urban Ministry’s SafeHouse for Women is fully staffed 24 hours a day to provide safety, peace, and comfort to local women and children in need.

It truly was a wonderful evening spent with our friends and colleagues who all looked AMAZING! We are so excited to hear the numbers come in showing how much money was raised! Enjoy a few pictures of our night out!
